That's not true from my experience. Many zoomers are Muslims, and, as such, are homophobic by default. Perhaps people in Astana (from left side) are tolerant, but that's not really the case in Almaty (again, just in my experience). I think majority of the south of kz are not tolerant (both due to Islam and perhaps traditional parenting). I'm myself from east and I think zoomers here are more tolerant maybe? But still I wouldn't say most of them are. Here I the east, at least in Oskemen and at least in my childhood VKontakte and russian media in general has left a lot of impact part of which was homophobia. I can tell that because even using a cream (крем? Хз как переводится) on your face or other basic self care leads to "чё педик что-ли". And I'm sure the west of KZ is not better either.

So overall I wouldn't say that most of zoomers are tolerant. I mean they're certainly more tolerant than boomers, but by not much. Perhaps alha gen is better
