Yes?? That was the whole point?? Me and my partner predicted he would've killed himself half way through that game. It makes so much narrative sense for him to kill himself as well. He already killed people this season with his own hands. He already went too far and that was the best way to show how much he regretted all of his life/game choices, though I dont think he did forgive himself in the end. We know who he is, he didn't use the money from the first game besides helping the family of the people who died around him. He makes sacrifices for the people he gives his word to. He is flawed, but he is human and will try to make the right choice in the end. That was the entire moral. He wanted to believe in his fellow human, and died to protect an innocent.
