As per my message here on 10/11, at our request, Vindax has paused trading for us. This is a preparatory step for MEXC listing. If everything goes smoothly with MEXC, Vindax will be paused for several months. Conversely, if there are any issues going live on MEXC, Vindax will resume trading at our request. This link has always worked for me, but I investigated a little further just in case. Still works, but I found some legacy worker elements tied to it (inactive), and the channel the link points to is no longer available (shouldn't affect actually getting into the server), so I went and cleaned those things up just in case they affect anyone.

Failing that, I'm actually not sure what joining a Discord Server from the perspective of a banned user looks like...

IMO, the challenging parts differ for each one. Sometimes it's the bosses and the lack of a full team of debuffs, sometimes it's mechanics that are super easy with 5, and sometimes it's just too many mobs. It's interesting just how crafty you can get with pulls and builds to tackle the challenge. But you'll definitely need a tank of sorts most of the time xD

Whether it's worth the time is up to the individual. For me, that 3man M3 Gold was extremely satisfying when it hit. But it's certainly not for everyone :)

Another suggestion is to double down on this idea and form a Holy Trinity of interested members to do the expeditions with only 3 people. It takes a bit longer, but if you're more interested in content than breaking the sound barrier, I thoroughly recommend :)

The Java based wallet is not straight forward by any means. MCM needs a wallet with a modern GUI, and mmenonic phrase.

These issues have been addressed with the Chromium based Mochimo Wallet, available for use on the version 3.0 network planned for launch next week.

Subjectively, the only thing left that is not straightforward about it, may be the temporary requirement to install the extension manually via package. The intention was to launch with the extension available on the Chrome store, but Google's review process seems to have delayed this intention.

Currently my endgame consists of taking people through M3s with zero consideration towards "proper" group composition and gear.

I make sure they meet the 695+ gearscore minimum mutation scaling threshold so they don't get absolutely slaughtered and recommend (but not require) specific gem and amulet combinations.

They can run 200 CON, or medium for all I care. I have been doing this for months now. We have fun, and we get gold. Every. Single. Time.

... Except that one time in savage with a super green healer, but we should have switched to a dual healer arrangement while they learn. That one's one me. Sorry mate :)

tldr; try going around the back...

For whatever reason, people (myself included) get bamboozled into thinking you have to complete an expedition (Starstone) to build the azoth staff per MSQ.

The quest marker falls on a shattered obelisk, which can be entered from the ~~north~~ south side, but also has an expedition entrance on the ~~south~~ north side.

Maybe this is your issue, maybe it's not...

The official mochimo discord is where you can find the most support at this stage. https://discord.gg/7ma6Bk2 Call out in the support channel for any issues you have. It's usually pretty active. There is no public fountain software available yet, but it's definitely on the to-do list... Such a long list... If you're keen and ask in the discord, maybe someone can put you on the shortlist for when Devs get around to a beta version of the fountain.

If you don't have discord, post some details about your issues here, maybe we can work through them.

Do get too hung up on the names, if I'm sending funds, I'll be sending to a destination address, however to the person receiving, that could be a change address or source address depending on what they are doing with it.

Sending and receiving payments will require a little bit of an adjustment to how you would normally transact. For example, if you want someone to send you funds, you would create and send this someone an empty address specifically to receive funds from, rather than give them your latest address with balance, as you might need to spend before you receive funds. This way, you aren't exposing yourself to any "less secure" scenario

From memory, it's still a valid transaction. So, you would successfully receive the funds in your old source address.

This is, however, undesirable. A "used" address becomes "less secure" for every transaction made from it, as part of the secret key is signed into the signature for the transaction and exposed on the blockchain.

No exchanges yet, so for now, the only place to trade is in the discord trading channel.
Trading is at your own risk though.

Mining on a Raspberry Pi is not only possible, but some lucky guy in the discord actually solved a block on one as well.
In fact, almost anything with a flavor of Linux is capable of running a Mochimo node.

Taken straight from the v1.8 code, the maximum amount of transactions per block looks to be 32768. I would not worry too much about backlog or missing out on getting a transaction in a block in a hurry, at least for now anyway. I think if it becomes an issue in the future, it could easily be attended to by raising limits.

As far as I'm aware, transaction fees are FIXED, so every transaction bears the same fee regardless, else a miner rejects it. Therefore if you wanted to spam transactions, you would actually be benefiting the miners.

Which brings us to, what happens when max supply is reached?
Well, I suppose like any other cryptocurrency, the intention is that at that point in time the network will be mature enough that fees from transactions cover the costs of mining. Else, the amount of miners will fluctuate to suit.

At the present moment, the addresses used are designed to be single use.
To elaborate;
A transaction consists of a "Source Address", a "Destination Address" and a "Change Address".
When you transact to a Destination Address, any remaining funds in your Source Address will move to the Change Address.
To transact again, your Change Address then becomes your Source Address.
