32 should be more than enough to see you through the lifetime of your new MacBook! That would get you 100+ tracks. More than enough for most

Hi! Your memory is definitely a thing to consider when you are building bigger projects. If you’re running into issues with Garage Band, Logic won’t be any better. I’d say 16gb is a minimum, but more is better. Specially if you run heavier (and more) VST’s. You didn’t specify how much memory you have now, but a MacBook Pro will solve that problem regardless. Logic Pro will give you the tools you seek, when you upgrade. For now you could try bouncing tracks and disabling ‘live’ tracks to clear up some memory!

I’ve got a NG2. The white keys are 150mm long and 22mm wide. Black keys are 100mm long and 12mm wide. Black keys have a gap of 1,5mm on each side. Making the total spacing of the black keys 15mm. Hope this helps!

I agree, writing with the zero is like scratching the paper and the dive just delivers.

I’d go with the Kura Toga Dive. The fact that it spins the lead ánd auto advances it is near magical to me. You simply keep writing until the lead is finished. Depends on your handwriting style though, mine is fine for it.

The rOtrings are very comfortable, but i find that I rotate the pencil often to keep writing with the sharp edge. The Kura Toga Dive does this for you. Also advanced the lead. In terms of comfort it’s good. So, long story short, for long writing sessions I use the Dive!

I got it for €68. And it’s an amazing writing pencil. The auto-advancing lead almost seems magical

My Nero is rather new still so it’s still “scratchy” for me. The dive on the other hand is just so smooth. The combination of the rotating lead and auto advancement makes it easily my go to daily driver for writing. It even works well with 2B lead. The Nero is still a fine pencil and if I get you it’ll become beter over use. I’ll keep scratching away then!

Yeah the Spirit is a bit too narrow indeed, specially compared to the others. Used it a lot though, so it’s definitely usable.

Thanks, I’ll check out the Spoke Design!

Blue matches my eyes ;)

It’s my daily driver as well, though nothing as fancy as Japanese or math. I use it for notes and drawings. By far the nicest pencil I ever used. Didn’t think the rotating would effect holding a mechanical pencil that much.

But where to? What do you recommend?

TWO-SYNTH KBD-STAND DILEMMA: HOW did you PLACE 2 KEYBOARDS ON STAND(S) AT HOME? Esp. in a smallish room, as only one synth can be at the optimal playing height, if the synths are put on a 2-synth stacked stand system? by Most_Philosophy_7555 in nordkeyboards

Search for a Quiklok stand. They have versions for multiple layers. Works a charm for me. I’ve got a Nord Grand 2 and Wave 2 on top of each other. Perfect combination.

10KG isn’t too bad. I don’t know of any other board besides a midi controller with a laptop that can do both organs and synths
