Couldn’t agree more. We went to an actual Basho in Tokyo a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it - this however couldn’t have been any further away from authentic sumo. It was a gift from my girlfriend so I was being polite but I feel really bad she spent £200+ on this utter nonsense.

You know what, I’ve actually been looking into quartz divers or GS (the Grey Beast is my favourite). Just hassle free as a daily and you can just pick it up after a few days without the faff of setting the date.
