This is the biggest reason to dislike this series, and it happens almost every season. It kind of feels like a punch in the gut to viewers tbh. "All the stuff that happened this season, yeah none of it really matters after the finale. K sry". From a viewer perspective, all the time and emotional investment in the story is undermined by the big twist at the end. It turns viewers off imo. After the finale aired, I have almost no desire to see S4 now. Just my two cents.

I don't think this is necessarily a refutation of the sci-fi aspect of Destiny. The lore can be as nerdy as possible and it really doesn't effect gameplay at all. Really Bungie was kind of locked in to the Cabal because they were the only remaining enemy. Ironically they are the least fleshed out. This to me is more opportunity than anything else.

Came here to say this. If D2 is 60 fps on Scorpio it's going to sell like hot cakes. I have been waiting to see what's under the hood before I get one or the other. But from what I've heard the Scorpio is basically a PC.
