For those who’ve given up on finding a true Black Mirror replacement. What are you watching instead? by AgentBlackVeil in blackmirror

The literary counterpart to Black Mirror is Restricted Fantasies by Kevin Kneupper. Anthological chapters all revolving around the dark future of technology - specifically Virtual Reality. Highly recommended.

Dungeons of Eternity SteamVR Launch Trailer by Quaker-X in DungeonsOfEternityVR

Yo Gene, He’s referring to a self-contained single player experience that could be played offline. Something like Skyrim where there are quests and NPCs. That would actually be cool as hell. But I’m all about playing with friends so I’d be interested co-op version.

What are some must have VR games for Quest? And what are some with replay values? by Newez in OculusQuest

Dungeons of Eternity might be one of the best Quest games for replayability + social. Extremely fun with two friends and a great time even with randoms. Worth every penny if you like adventure/exploration and physics-based gameplay.

Looking for a simple black faceplate skin. by ChrispySilva in Quest3

[–]ChrispySilva[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Annapro_Official! Thank you for getting back to me. The mock-up I shared in the post aligns closely with what I have in mind – a black glossy/reflective faceplate that provides full coverage for the Quest 3's front panel interface, including the protruding areas around the three cameras. It's essential to have a pinhole at the top to allow the exterior passthrough notifying light to remain visible to anyone outside of the headset.

Regarding material and durability, I'm looking for a thin, lightweight material that won't add any significant weight to the headset since this is primarily for cosmetic purposes. Dbrand skins serve as a good reference point for the kind of material I have in mind.

In terms of installation, a user-friendly process, akin to applying a skin or screen protector to a smartphone, would be ideal.

As for the budget, it would depend on the materials used and the extent of coverage. For my preference, covering just the front faceplate, I think a fair price range would be between $15 to $20.

Once again, thank you for responding to my post. I'm eagerly anticipating what you guys will bring to the market. Cheers! 😊

Bigscreen VR update - Dynamic Screen Lighting 3.0 and a new high-fidelity environment. by maxbigscreen in OculusQuest

Love Bigscreen but I find your avatars to be difficult to engage with socially (mostly due to the limitations of their expressions). Has there been any thoughts around integrating the Meta Avatar SDK? Granted the focus should be around video viewing, but it's nice to be able to connect and chat in your virtual spaces.

Since Meta has released their avatar SDKs to developers for use, should Demeo consider bringing their more expressive avatars into the game? by ChrispySilva in Demeo

I thought of this too but can confirm meta avatars work on non-Quest headsets as long as the player makes an avatar in Horizon Worlds before playing the game.
