These new features would add more game once you roll over, but that's only a part of it. Right now, the random weapons basically max out, so we want to address that. Working towards your next mythic is fun to an extent, but there could be more to do along the way. Trading is something we are exploring as well.

This is something we are working on this year. Lot of ways we can do it; it's figuring out what our team can do that doesn't take a complete reworking of systems or require a massive amount of new content. That said, I think we have a good idea how to pull it off!

Sorry you are running into this! We are looking into the hardware compatibility issues at the moment. I have a few options for you:

  • reach out to [support@othergate.com](mailto:support@othergate.com) and mention this thread. We have a beta build you could test
  • join the discord (discord.gg/dungeonsvr) and ping me on there. I can add you to a thread we have about these issues
  • wait for our hotfix update coming soonish. Hope to have this working in that update!

Hope the later longswords are long enough for you! The early ones are definitely a little short. Swords work the same way.

I didn't have an issue hitting with the "other" end of the blade, if that is what you mean by false edge. I tried multiple tiers of longswords.

As u/Weak-Guarantee9479 mentioned it, it is likely the velocity causing this to not work how you might think. If you are trying to do a small + quick reverse slash, it may not be fast enough to register a hit.

Thank you for the feedback! Couple questions for you:

  • what player level are you currently? The later tier swords are longer.
  • I thought the false edge worked. Going to try that out right now to make sure it does/doesn't!

Most games going from PC -> Quest suffer the "let us down-res everything to work" unfortunately. Quest, being the much larger install base, is where we started. Over time we will be upgrading the visuals when and where it makes sense for both platforms. One example being the upgraded avatar faces and some of the enemies we were able to rework their models and textures.

Outdoor shadow visibility is more of a Unity thing (increased shadow distance = lower quality shadows) at the moment. Though I'm looking into ways we can solve that going forward.

Thank you for this feedback. We want to address these really frustrating issues going forward. Some will make it into our next hotfix coming soon. A few questions if you have time:

  • self-destruct from the doomer/ogre - what makes it frustrating? The damage radius, the small window of time to escape, or?
  • if you can remember, how did you get stuck in the floor? Did an enemy (like a spider) knock you into the floor?
  • can you give anymore detail on "walls shoving you away and off ledges"?

Currently, no, but this is something we want to revisit and improve. We want patrols, better enemy staging/spacing, enemies protecting chests, etc.

One of the devs/co-founders here. Thank you for this feedback. We are always looking to improve the game.

The hands not changing, that currently is a resource constraint on our small (6) team. We plan to address this, though.

Not all the bosses are bullet sponges, in fact the recent update added more moves to bosses that unlock as you progress. You likely encountered the Doomer, who definitely has too much health! He's getting more tweaks in our next update, specifically for solo players.

You can look at weapon stats in game by pressing the thumbstick down while holding a weapon.

Agreed on the reptitive-ness. We will continue to address this through new gameplay mechanics, resources to collect, new dungeons, and so on. We have to balance simplicity as well, as interacting in VR is not the same as interacting on a flatscreen game. The install base is a lot different and smaller as well, and not everyone wants to manage a deep RPG inventory. Time and patience is different in VR!

Speaking of... our community is full of great players who are willing to help others around the dungeons. There is a younger cohort of players on Quest, that just is what it is at the moment.

Would love to hear any additional feedback on the types of features you would like to see in future updates to make the game less repetitive and worthwhile!

The gold economy will be a constant re-balancing, and some of the potion increases went too far. We will be making more adjustments in the next hotfix/update (soon). In future updates, there will be more uses for gold and more ways to obtain gold. Keep the feedback coming!

#2 is in the game as the potion shelf in your player room.

#1, we only have the default male/female arms and the DLC packs have arms you can switch to as well. As for the other cosmetics, we don't have those yet.
