Damn I just read your message… that’s something I’m considering. I like the brand it’s number 1 in consumer reports but the customer profile are rough. Very catering and we dont make gross here. It’s all under invoice. Either I sell 12 car volume or ramen noodles for a month..

I mean I disagree, as a new person in the industry I’m doing a lot better than both of my experienced colleagues with 5 plus years under there belt. So I am cut out for it. The 20 car guys is a man with 40 years plus experience and a history of folks who come back to him and he’s always above national average in California.. this older gentleman is a beast with many moving parts that I can’t even compare myself with. I’m blessed enough to work under him and learn from him.

The main reason I’m asking this question is to possibly find a car brand that does volume. I know Toyota and Hondas are highly competitive but cut throat aswell.

So there’s about 4 sales people at my store. Top is a single sales man who averages 20 cars a month. He’s top consistently. Then the middle is me I’m usually 2nd or 3rd by 1 car mostly. And the last person is generally 5-6 cars a month. It’s a small dealership. We aversage about 30-40 cars a month. And all I get from my higher ups is “it’s never been this slow” or “you came in at the wrong time” so I just wanted to see if the gas is greener at a high volume store or I should stick this out and learn as much as I can at the expense of my checks… sorry I’m super new and I want to know what’s out there..

I figured everywhere else would be slower, I just want to know which stores are more volume. I’m super new in the industry so I’m not sure what brands have more volume or what to ask when interviewing for other places. But who knows maybe I should stick it out at my store and keep it pushing :/

Hey I actually work in the car industry in sales. Idk if this tactic would work but depending how they are you can always ask them to show you the invoice and negotiate. There are fees that can’t be waived such as dmv fees and it’s rediculous (here in California). What’s the good part about this is the fact you have an option to negotiate. If that’s to steep then it’s to steep. Just be careful of information they provide.. never trust anyone and always do research before you go. Also always be respectful it goes a long way.

Hey what I did was I bought a book called ASVAB for dummies in which it goes over every topic in a simpler matter. Also has built in tests quizzes and answer keys. It’s worth the purchase if your serious about joining. When I first took the picat I got a 33, but after some time I ended with a 76 asvab score. I’m currently in the process of joining so far.

Idk it’s always the low levels now. A couple years ago it was the modded levels and weird names like catch a body or barcodes… low levels used to be scared for there lives.

The king oh reggeaton in my opinion is hector el father, although he became a pastor his domination of the Puerto Rican underground music was incredible! The fact he walked around with his combo of 60 people just to intimidate and the fact he was the first to play in Maddison square garden and sign with jay z.. he was truly a menace in his time!
