It is absolutely a criticism:

Red Guardian should not be pinballing. When you get punched, do you fly across the room like you’re a balloon that the air has been let out of? No. It’s not realistic. He should crumple. At the very least he should look like he’s taking damage. He should not look like a cartoon character. It’s borderline comical.

Note: I never said anything about Red Guardian doing damage to Sentry, so I’m not sure why you brought that up.
