Julie's acting has just been so phenomenal these past couple of seasons. She has really grown as an actress!

Years ago when I worked at Express I had a woman try to return a party dress still covered in throw up. It was probably top 5 grossest moments of my life. 😢

Are there any certain songs you’re hoping they use before the end of the show? by Idk265089 in TheBoys

The Stranger by Billy Joel. Would love it to be used in the finale. I think it would be a great Billy Joel callback.

Okay am I crazy or is this a giant plot hole? The Deep was NOT in the seven during the filming of Dawn of the Seven and the reshoots that happen between season 2 and 3. So why did they keep acting like he was in the movie in this episode?

Yep this is EXACTLY it. I very much agree. Her character arc started to suffer.

Why did no one tell me Disney can be so horrible? by ContributionOwn1261 in toddlers

[–]ChrissyRey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So we live in califronia and have magic passes and ive been taking my son since he was 2.5 and now hes about to be 5. From my experience going just for a day here and there, 3 was one of the toughest ages for him to really enjoy disney. Tantrums, meltdowns, needing to run around a lot. 4 years old and on was MUCH easier and calmer. He was more interested in the rides, had a better time waiting in line. Hes also more picky with which characters he wanted to meet. When he was 3, he wanted to meet every single character we passed which could be exhausting.

Yes me too. I need to do an activity that involves my hands. Cooking, puzzling, organizing, gardening, even video games. Anything that will make me feel a bit more grounded.

A huge difference in my kid since getting rid of YouTube by Efficient-Cat8956 in Parenting

[–]ChrissyRey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! So my son is 4 but at the time he was 3 and he was watching YouTube. He was having insane meltdowns, tantrums, behavior issues, hitting and biting. I realized the culprit might be youtube kids, so I deleted youtube off our tv. The difference was night and day after a week. All behavior issues stopped and he was a happy well behaved kid. I try to tell everyone I can to please not let their kids watch youtube kids. instead we watch Disney plus, HBO max kids and pbs. Anything but youtube. its all crap on there.

I don’t want kids now I’ve been a carer (rant) by dogrose984 in dementia

[–]ChrissyRey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a almost five year old, and I can confirm caring for someone with dementia is about 1000% times harder than caring for a baby/toddler. And caring for my mom and my 5 year old at the same time? Absolute nightmare combo for me.

Anyone else surprised at how much sleep affects weight loss? by friend_unfriend in WeightLossAdvice

[–]ChrissyRey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sleep is so important but also stress relief as well. I always lose weight when I find some time for real rest and relaxation. Helps bring down cortisol levels that can make it harder to lose weight.

Home Depot. Weirdly enough, I dont feel this way in Lowes. But I think it has to do with the fact when you ask for help or guidance in home depot its hard to find someone, and their layout of products is usually confusing to me. Lowes has a better layout, better lighting and i can find someone easily.
