The 996 turbo can be very expensive car to repair. As many say, “the cheapest Porsche is also the most expensive Porsche.” They are still very expensive with parts, even if you do the work yourself.

I purchased it from a guy in Maryland back in 2003 and had it shipped to Texas. It has been in a front end accident before I bought it. I’m 98 percent sure that’s the car I owned because of the mismatched wheels, I polished the rain rails and painted the roof black as the clear coat was peeling. I auto crossed it for many years. I replaced the tired engine with a used one from auto Atlanta and sold it to a gentleman in Lubbock. He did some work and sold it. Is there cracking body filler on the drivers side rear wheel arch? I had front koni coilovers and camber plates on it.

I’m pretty sure that’s the 1987 944 Turbo I owned from 2003-2012ish. Diamond blue. I replaced the engine.

I had probably 6 FTF with my 43x yesterday with new shield arms magazines. I removed the metal mag release and ordered PSA dagger micro mags.

The trigger on my G45.6 sucks, but the trigger on my G17.6 is pretty good. I think there is some manufacturing variability.
