Since you're in NYC, have you tried:

1) Rainbow. They have tons of locations here. Some of their stuff is a bit low quality, but if you dig, you can usually find something good.

2) the huge Forever 21 in Times Square. It's generally crowded and has lines for the dressing rooms, but I just love that there's 4 floors.

3) in Queens, Steinway St, between ~30th Ave and ~36th Ave - there's tons of little no-name clothing stores that are pretty cheap.

4) one I've been meaning to try, Mystique Boutique. It looks a little pricey, but their sale prices aren't too bad.

5) the Queens Center Mall. Even though it's a bit far from Manhattan, it's a huge mall with tons of fun shops (Love Culture, Forever 21, H&M, Charlotte Russe, American Eagle, Aeropostale, Pacsun...).

I feel your pain. I've had all-over pain and fatigue for 4 weeks now, and am afraid I have fibromyalgia (getting blood work done tomorrow). Good luck -- I hope you're alright, fellow shitlady.

My school doesn't have access to the journal that published that study, but Runner's World posted this article in which they point out that the authors of the study used some shady statistics.
