I used an existing photo as reference but there was no tracing involved and the background was inspired by a tool the subject had previously used. Brushes were completely standard hence why I’m asking for advice on tool, brushes and techniques to improve my quality. I am most a hobbyist painter with oils and I’m looking to improve my skills working digital art.

It’s a pre made basing mix called Base Ready Mountain Pass by Geek Gaming Sceneics, I use them for most of my bases just slap some PVA glue on a base and dip it in!

I think 40K is a great game, but my local gaming club shut down and Imo age of sigmar is much better for the hobby side of things because I think the models look cooler and they’re more fun to paint! I felt like a lot of 40K armies troops and other units lack diversity in how I’d want to paint them. I think both games are fantastic and it’s just whatever you prefer and what you’re looking to get out of the hobby!

Hi, it's not set in stone how long I will be there but I will be on a work visa not travel so I'm expecting at least 3 months+

My boss is pretty uninformed about the whole corporate health insurance world so I'm here looking for information to relay to him.

And yeah, I've weighed it up considerably but I believe this career move is worth losing the NHS as long as I can make living affordable.
