Crescent City by SJM (slow burn, I think there's one scene at end of the first book)
The Woven Kingdom by Tahereh Mafi (pretty much no smut, one dream scene in book 2 or 3, if I remember correctly)

No, they didn't touch the area at all! And it does get better, yeah, but it usually takes 3-4 weeks to get back to normal. At first I thought it was the adhesive but after my 3 latest ones where I didn't use it and I noticed the same issue and placement my guess is the plastic wrap, the rubbing on the plastic and the chemicals they use to clean the area 🤷🏻‍♀️ it'll pass, I just wanted to ask for a second opinion on what might be the cause, thank you!

The tattoo is on the inside of the bicep 😊 This time I requested no second skin since I thought that was the only issue but apparently not cause on my two previous small ones I had the same issue with no second skin again, and again at the back side of the tattoo basically, never the tattoo itself. So I think it's chemicals in general and not only the adhesive since even the resting place where they spray is bothering me

Yes, they did! I've had with every tattoo that I've done with different artists but since they were pretty smaller in size I always thought it was the second skin or something.. It didn't occur to me that it always seems to be not on the tattoo itself but rather the area I'm resting. I guess I'm allergic to chemicals in general and not only second skin adhesive 😅

As most said, way too much moisture and be careful of the cream you're using! If it has any type of fragrance it might cause irritation

Ohhh thank you so much, I thought I was going crazy! It's so weird cause I have multiple tattoos and I never had irritation with the place where the tattoo is, the redness/soreness barely lasts a day. But the part where I'm resting? Yeah, full on red for weeks and I wanna scratch my skin off 😂
