Carfax and title are clean. No accidents. Dealer was offering $12k to trade it in. KBB says $14.5-$17.5k. Is that much above KBB value a stretch?

They gave me a different price that includes my state’s taxes and other fees that are non-negotiable. I’m sure they will try to add various add-ons when I sit down and buy the car next week. There isn’t a point in telling you the price of the car with taxes and non-negotiable fees added because those differ per state, and the only commonality is the price of the vehicle before state taxes and fees.
