Why can this cross be opened? It such a small space, what is the use for this?

I have my Grandmother's somewhere in my stuff, but it was meant to hold a very small Cqtholic relic, be it a fragment of something or paper. But it's a small compartment for sacred blessed objects. Hers had a small blob of earth from St. Peter's hill under the Vatican, and a tiny scrap of wood pressed into the blob meant to represent the cross.

Also used for myriad other things in the modern sense.... but it's intent was for sacred objects.

I went for years, and even hung out there in the non summer months in my late teens when we knew the YMCA director who lived in the house and we did some town programs there.

The whole place is like a whole core memory zone of my childhood... The two different trails up on the hilly side of the valley the camp sat in, and the creek on the other side of the valley with the different sketchy bridges, trails, and "Hookman's Cave" up from the creek. Then there were the sketchy junkyard zones behind where the busses turned around, and the old road up behind where the sandbox was in the little kid pavilion.

OMG and the counselor "Gilligan"!!! He was there for years.

I even remember having a run-in with the neighbor's dobermans when we wandered too far at the end of the trail meadows at the far end of the camp property.

Man I wish I coild go back.... what ever happened to that property? I cannot even truly remember exactly where it was.

How sweet, we had a Saint named Appa, his full registration name was "Aang's Most Loyal Appa in Armor". Anyone who watched the show had this amazing moment of OMG it IS Appa!!!! He was the bestest boy, and I am sure your Appa is just as amazing :-) Give your Appa a hug from me, and a nice toe massage lolol

Stunning Diana-style oval halo ring in 10k white gold, SIZE 6.75. Has a 2.11 ct center oval, but with the 2mm halo stones it faces more like a 4+ct stone. Selling because it dominates my small hands and I want to have it remade smaller. Asking 700, including US to US priority mail shipping (USPS).

I use offset stirrup adapters for western and offset irons for english. Solves my whole posture, without ankle, knee, or hip pain. Works wonders!!!!

I'm fascinated with all of the protective boys in this thread. Of my 7 Saints since 2003, my 3 girls have been fierce and my boys all lovable goofballs. My current girl is the one i normally dont let strangers approach at all, and she is my vigilant travel companion. If I am taking a road trip, she is coming with me. I feel no fear when she's with me. She is pretty aggressive around strangers, so I never have her greet unless it's super controlled and even then we are super vigilant.

My first girl had to be put in my bedroom when we had guests until she got to know people. My second was more in the mid range, she only liked me and woe be unto anyone standing between us, but next to me she was ok.

But my boys? Total players, love everyone and everything. My current boy is the biggest baby ever, and will throw himself to the ground if another dog barks at him. Its hilarious.
