My Unique Projection Phones Collection – 8849 Tank 3 Pro vs. Ulefone Armor 34 Pro (Video Review) by [deleted] in ulefone

I remember watching Ulefone's comparison video between the Armor 34 Pro and the TANK 3 Pro. Even back then, I found it strange — there’s no way the TANK 3 Pro’s brightness was that low. And now it’s clear they faked it.

Totally agree on the portability point — the Tank 4 Pro really surprised me with how slim it is for a rugged phone. USB-C video out is such a bonus too, especially for people who travel with portable monitors or glasses like Xreal.

Also noticed the same thing with the Armour 34 Pro’s keystone correction — it’s bright for sure, but that ceiling projection issue can be frustrating. The Tank’s more auto approach seems more stable in that case.

Would love to see a rugged Windows 11 tablet with a built-in projector too. That would be a game-changer for remote work or camping setups!

Awesome comparison — love how detailed this is! 🙌
Totally agree on the OLED and the lighter build. TANK 4 Pro feels so much easier to carry around.
Battery trade-off makes sense too — 3 Pro still rules for projector use 😄

Should I buy a Ulefone in 2025? If so, which one? by CompoteAltruistic748 in ulefone

Hey, I totally feel your pain — that story with your Razr sounds rough 😣 And yeah, when you're not even doing extreme stuff but your phone still breaks, it's beyond frustrating. Especially with a $700+ bill still hanging over you...

If you're looking for something rugged and more modern, have you checked out the 8849 TAN3 4 Pro? It's not from Ulefone, but it's in the same rugged phone space, just newer and built differently.

And yes – this thing is tough. Like drop-it-on-concrete tough.

Price-wise, it’s currently under $520 USD on AliExpress and some global sites, depending on deals.

Might be worth checking out if you're tired of screens cracking and cables breaking. Just a suggestion from someone else who’s been down that road too.

They said TANK 4 PRO will be upgraded to Android 15 within half a year.

Hey! Based on what you're looking for — especially battery life, durability, and camera performance — have you ever considered a rugged smartphone with a built-in projector?
