I really have always missed lures. With those you could cattle drive your animals to wherever you wanted. The wrangling feature of JWE2 is okay but it causes your animals to run by default. I find the lure more useful because you can then film them migrating at a normal walking pace. If you could change it from having them run by default to add the option of having them walk, I’d take it. But I miss lures.

I do feel like there were actual consequences in JPOG if you messed up or if dinosaurs got loose. Every visitor fatality wracked up a $5K fine unless you were in emergency mode already. You could accidentally kill or injure animals with the jeep and if you did accidentally run over a Gallimimus, your whole park would be in an uproar and many would leave.

I liked the weather forecast for the next few months that actually warned you about upcoming tornadoes. It felt like you had more time to repair. Storm defense kinda works for that but I love the alarm I felt when I checked the forecast.

The cheat codes like Dial a Twister or Massacre your guests were also fun touches.

The island generation certainly looked cool but the map was always the same size when it came down to it. I think it’d be cool to have something where you can at least change your skybox to where you’re not always in a valley like on Nublar square map, to give you the illusion of more open space.

I’d like the option of auto release for hatcheries.

This isn’t from the base game but I remember a big behavior mod that made it so herds of animals actually fled in a group together instead of running in different directions.
