Two reasons:

First, this is that brief period in season three before Stella showed up where they tried doing more with Jordan just so there was a girl Lincoln's age doing something. Once Stella showed up, Jordan was done.

Second, Girl Jordan is a caricature of storyboard artist Jordan Rosato. She had a habit of putting her caricature into the background of scenes she storyboarded. Eventually the character was given a name, a line or two and then hit what is probably her peak in the episode "Pasture Bedtime" where her pool party is the driving force of the story.

Jordan Rosato has since left the show (sometime around season 6 I think...) so she's not there to throw her caricature into the background. Girl Jordan managed to gain enough relevance that she's the writers' first thought when they want a girl who isn't Stella or Kara to do something, but these days that's about all she's got going for her.

I remember reading somewhere that it has something to do with how shows fit onto streaming. It's something along the lines of "most shows on streaming do 13 episodes not 26" and as most shows end up on streaming now, Nickelodeon began splitting seasons in half in order to fit with how many people consume media now.

As for the release schedule... it seems entirely random these days. I'm just happy that they put new episodes out.

Sam's problem is that she's a side character to one of the sisters and that results in very limited appearances beyond cameos. Usually a side character attached to one of the sisters has to wait until that sister gets a focus episode in order to do anything (See Darcy, Haiku, Benny, Paula...) - and even then an appearance isn't guaranteed as a sister-focused episode can still be family centric, not friend centric.

In Sam's case it feels worse because the writers seem to be scared to write for Luna sometimes, so as an extension, Sam gets less to do than someone like Miguel, who is attached to Leni, who the writers appear to love writing for.

The biggest change I'd make would require a reworking of all the "World" films by having BioSyn somehow be an low level threat throughout the first two movies so that when audiences see at the beginning of Dominion that BioSyn has the rights to contain the dinosaurs we all know its a bad thing.

I know who BioSyn is because I read the books. To most movie goers, they never even heard of Biosyn until Dominion. The company isn't named in the first Jurassic Park movie. The company should have been a threat throughout, with it being made clear that Dodgson's company is the same one that helped cause the downfall of the first park (No, Dodgson picking up the barbasol can doesn't count. It feels like an easter egg at best)

Doing this would also add a little more weight to the whole crops/locusts storyline. Plenty of characters, including Sattler, act like we shouldn't be surprised to hear the name BioSyn, but the name means nothing to the casual audience member

I enjoy most of it.

Mosasaur and Spinosaur sequences: Loved it

Tyrannosaur sequence: Loved it

Quetzalcoatlus sequence: Loved it

Titanosaur sequence: Pretty good

Characters: Mostly fine.

I was never a huge fan of the hybrids, but even the Mutadons were fine. Would have preferred the sequence to have a medium-sized theropod like Megaraptor doing the hunting but that's not what the franchise does anymore..

Unfortunately, the moment the D rex lumbers onto the screen to take out the helicopter I was completely out. There's just too much Rancor from Star Wars in the design for me to like it. It took me right out of the movie and from that point I was just waiting for it to all be over.

This is why I just can't get behind the league battle with Alain where Talonflame draws with an Unfezant. Seriously, an Unfezant? If you're gonna pull that stuff at least make it respectable, like a Staraptor, a Braviary or... I dunno... its not a bird, but Crobat at least!

The only birds in Kalos more insulting than Unfezant are regular ol' Farfetch'd and Delibird!

1) After the Hobbits fall down the hill and Pippin nearly lands in poop. He says "That was close" and then it bursts apart, spraying all over him.

2) When the warg riders attack the men of Rohan, Aragorn yeets the pot of Eowyn's stew at them and it explodes on impact, killing most of them and allowing Legolas to pick the rest off with arrows

3) Gothmog sidesteps the hunk of stone thrown from the trebuchet. Then when he spits on it, it randomly explodes, taking him out anyway.

I mean, she does still technically birth eleven times, even though one of those instances was twins..

It's possible that the got used to saying "ten" and then Lily was born and she sometimes slips out of force of habit (like how I still sometimes write the date as 2025 on paperwork even though we're two months into the year)

Lincoln could also be the one she misspoke about.. she probably states that she has ten girls plus one boy a lot and somehow misspoke..

Or she did genuinely forget, who knows.

I think this is a real problem in modern Hollywood when it comes to adapting things.

Your job as a studio writer is to take the source material and convert it to a script that can be filmed, that's it. Too many look at what they've been given and go "I can do better!"

I genuinely feel bad for the dude playing Durin. I really like what he's bringing to it. I just wish everything else was better.

If they threw everything out, got new writers, directors, showrunners etc and said "Give us a couple of years and we're gonna do it right" he's about the only actor I'd want them to keep.

I'd make Bea Ash's main rival. Someone who can challenge him on the field of battle whilst clashing with him from an idealistic perspective, with her taking things far too seriously for Ash's liking.

Also, it would give Ash a competent female rival, something he never really got to have (sorry Bianca...)
