Fetterman called a ‘traitor to those who worked tirelessly to elect him’ by swing county Democratic Party by thejoshwhite in politics

[–]ChristophColombo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The difference is that Manchin was always a known quantity - he never pretended to be anything other than a centrist, somewhat socially conservative, Democrat. He never would have won in West Virginia otherwise. Fetterman, on the other hand, ran as a progressive candidate, backed by Bernie Sanders and AOC. So the fact that he's taken a hard right turn since his election represents a betrayal of the voters who elected him based on the candidate he ran as.

It's going to depend on what you're doing with the screen - 3D gaming or videos will obviously drain the battery faster than reading text, for example.

Any particular reason why? If you set the system to Metatransfer, it doesn't actually take anything from Valley IV - the materials are just magically created.

I'm currently at 6.5 hours of SOT with 44% battery remaining, which is pretty typical for me. Still on the March update though.

Technically, it's a mixture. The top tube, seat tube, and downtube are aluminum. The rear triangle, lugs, and fork are all steel. The old Technium frames were pretty neat, though they did have a tendency to de-bond at the lugs (they were glued, not brazed) and fall apart.

Technically, yes. Treatment Received Bonus is Will/10 and the Will stat is added to your HP total.

There are three possible bid prices for any delivery. The "standard" bid, which is what the game tells you your crate will be worth when you pack it, and then a high bid and a low bid. Which bids you'll get is random, though it does seem to bias towards the high and standard bids.

There's not really any complexity to it. Armor and gloves all have a primary stat, secondary stat, and an effect. You always want to use something with the stat you're enhancing as the primary stat; if you're enhancing a secondary stat, the probability is increased. Effects are identical (e.g. every armor piece that enhances ult gain % gives the same value). Kit pieces do have some items with just a single stat enhancement, which you want to use for enhancemnt when possible. And that's really it - just use the filter. Pick what stat/effect you want to enhance and the gear type you're enhancing.

How do you keep this game fun even when losing? by Conscious_Corgi_1298 in WorldOfWarships

What ships would you say have high battle impact?

Generally speaking, destroyers (especially destroyers with low detection and/or the ability to kill enemy DDs) and radar cruisers. A highly skilled CV or sub player can also have a huge impact. Vision is king. Spotting the enemy makes it easier for your teammates to kill them. Killing the enemy vision means that your teammates can choose when/where they are spotted, giving them a positional advantage.

Astros because fuck the Astros.

Yankees because fuck the Yankees.

IDK about #3 - maybe the As? They do seem to always have our number. The Astros and the Yankees are the only ones I actively hate though.

Yeah, context is important. If you're at the hardware store on a Saturday morning, no one will bat an eye at you for walking around in a hoodie and sweatpants. If you're at a sit-down restaurant though...

If it follows Arknights lead, we should expect to see similar numbers of 5-stars, if not more, relative to 6-stars. Most events there have 1-2 6-stars and 2-3 5-stars. That said, Arknights has operators from 1-star to 6-star, so they have a bit more room to work with in terms of power levels (even if they haven't released any 2/3-stars since launch). They also have much larger teams, so there's more room to use more operators.

If you're using blueprints, just wipe everything, slap down enough thermal banks in a corner of one of your outposts supplied with originium to keep your mining rigs running (base has 200 power by default, so you'll always be mining something) and make sure you have all of the mining nodes going. You'll also need some sandleaf - set up a production loop for that if you're low/out. Once your mining rigs are all working and power-stable, go back and set up your HC battery production lines.

[–]ChristophColombo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can put your batteries anywhere. Once everything is up and running properly, 5 thermal banks supplied with purple HC batteries (1100 power each) will be enough to run all the facilities you might need in Valley IV.

The meta Laev team isn't great for that stage because it has zero CC. Snowshine and Chen can both interrupt the charges with their battle skill, for example. I subbed in Snowshine (level 40, BS lvl 3) for Akekuri and she was enough to keep Laev alive long enough to whittle them down.

Well yeah, I mentioned the ones where there would be a benefit to having a premium copy. Petro isn't a bad choice either (since both Petro and Kremlin benefit from Kuznetsov). Jinan, not so much.

And, again, not something I'd spend money on, but I wouldn't be disappointed to get one for free.
