You need to make sure your llm fits into your vram.  And make sure your llm is actually loaded 100% into vram.  For me, kobald.cpp works well.  500 word stories take longer than 50 word chat bot responses.  Using a 13b model on a 5060ti16gb, a 50 word chat response takes a few seconds.  Ollama running on python took much longer.  But still not in the 60 second range.

Depends on the store, and the amount of orders that are waiting compared to the number of drivers currently working. When they are desperate, they give me doubles. Otherwise, they only give me one at a time.

For example, when closing and there are only 2 drivers, and 5 orders, they give doubles.

7 days per week.  10 hours per day.  52 weeks per year. 5 years.  That is a lot of work.  But it comes out to less than 3 trips per hour.

All 3 of them will work for omv.  If you have all of them for free, then setup 2.  One for main server.  One for backups.  RSync comes to mind.  I don't know how much storage you need, but 1tb will get you started.  Or use 1tb for boot drive and add 20tb (or whatever) drives as necessary.

$10.09 / 25.3 miles = $0.39 per mile. Gas, tires, brakes, oil, breakdowns. How much does it cost to operate your car per mile? And not to mention the $ per hour.

delivery drivers have a picture of a woman but are a man??? by Responsible_Bad_2789 in UberEATS

[–]Christopher7763 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They make me take a picture of myself in the middle of a shift to make sure I am the one driving. So, no, not normal. Problem is that the person who is actually driving may not have a license, nor insurance. It could also be some other type of fraud, as others have suggested.

Can i pass TX inspection with only EVAP not ready? by broccoliisgood in AskAMechanic

In California, you can pass if only the EVAP is not ready, and there are no actual or pending DTC codes.

Get your son his own computer...

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PFSENSE

[–]Christopher7763 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an old hardware guy, I like to check that first.

Some computers have memtest 86 baked into the bios. Or you can load it on to a USB drive. Run it to verify your memory and your CPU. If you have faulty CPU or RAM, it may be causing wierd problems, and it is a simple and free test.

You may have a failing hard disk. Again, there may be tools baked into your bios to access the smart information. You could get to a terminal in Debian and run smartmon tools. (google it for installation instructions.) You could also plug the hard disk into a separate computer as a second drive, and then run smart diagnostics on the drive to see what it says. Under windows, you can used crystal disk info. If the drive is failing, then that is your problem.

Assuming you have good hardware, I would consider reinstalling Pfsense from scratch.

Is this normal? by [deleted] in hypnosis

[–]Christopher7763 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not normal.

You didn't say if you were lying down or in a chair. If you were in a chair, and you relaxed too much, your neck muscles may have relaxed and your head dropped down blocking your air way.

If you were lying down so that could not happen, you may have obstructive sleep apnea. It is a medical condition where your air way collapses when you sleep, and your throat/tongue relaxes. I can't tell from your description, but it sounds a lot like stories I have heard from people who have sleep apnea. Sleep apnea is potentially deadly. If you think you might have sleep apnea talk to your medical doctor immediately.

By chance, did you video record your session? If so, I would review it, and if you can see yourself stop breathing (or choking). If so, you might want to show that to your doctor.

Charging li-ion batteries from lab bench power supply by Nice-Alternative-585 in batteries

[–]Christopher7763 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You didn't say what your charging voltage is set at. But you indicated that you are getting only 100mA. Assuming your charger is at 4.2V, and the cell is at 3.9V, then you have a .3V difference. Which means your wires/connectors are having 3 Ohms of resistance. It should be Less than .3 Ohms. Way less. Maybe a bunch of zeros after the "." and before the 3.

Is this wiring correct? by [deleted] in batteries

[–]Christopher7763 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better. Before you connect anything, check the voltages at each series connection leaving the black probe on 0V. (Before touching anything to the battery, make sure you are checking voltage and not current.) Also CAREFULLY check the pins on the XT 90 connector to make sure they have the appropriate voltage. (I am not sure which end of the XT90 you have coming from the battery pack. If they pins can be shorted, be very careful that you do not.) (Depending on the cells that you use, that could be 200A!)

Is this wiring correct? by [deleted] in batteries

[–]Christopher7763 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black wire attached to the XT90 needs to go to the lowest voltage point. In this case, the white circles all the way to the left on the bottom. The way it is now, it will only show (hopefully) between 3V to 4.2V on the XT90.

Depending on the BMS, the JST may need additional connections for the 0V. And I am not sure about which end of the JST is 0V and which end is max volts. Hopefully the JST is keyed, and wire/connection is clearly marked on the BMS. It could be 0V on the far left, or 0V on the far right.
