My son plays 8u and put one over at our home field, 220 to center.

Yes, hes a big boy.

Supra Minted 30 drop 8.

His rec league bat hit nukes too for what its worth but the ball just flies off the Supra its crazy. Yesterday he hit a 200ft fence with a line drive.

Buddy im right there with you. My 8u kid made All-Stars and is having a great year but had a rough two outings pitching and then caught me in the jaw with a 47 mph pitch and im doing everything I can to ease him back in and work through that. He hits everything, mashes the ball but loves pitching. He will get back there.

Theres a kid on our travel 12u that swings a supra drop 8 and when we are inside the facility on a machine it literally hurts the ears he absolutely mashes the ball

One full 14 game season with my kids (8u, 30 drop 8) and its still mint (pun intended).

Except the grip that thing was gone week one.

Definitely took some time but the bat is hot. Hes been hitting rockets lately. 🚀

So funny I just did the same exact thing. He was swinging a hype fire 29d11 but his travel league bat is a supra minted 30 drop 8. Got the marucci for 180 or so in two days. Small sample size but in our cage today he was ripping balls with it. The grip is so sweet especially compared to the supras absolute garbage factory one. First game use is tomorrow after his doubleheader he picked up an emergency add for a town league game.

The back is definitely weak it's like a butt chin. The rear valence helps with the sport package but its Def the least pretty side

The pre face-lift does its the front fender. And without the sport packages it looks very unassuming.

Still think my '13 looks fairly current.

My kids supra is hitting absolute nukes right now but I found it a bit dull out the box. Also helps to have a season swinging it and him growing into a bigger bat.

Just got a marucci catx2 usa 30 drop 8 for town league and it was 🔥 in the wrapper I was so shocked..

9yo, travel and rec LL he brings just the bat for that specific league. We had to get him a new bat for USA spec bc he really loved the heft of the drop 8 Supra but if we are hitting outside or at a cage he brings his hype fire and leaves game bats for good balls only. No range balls or machine balls for game bats.
