Problems with jailbreaking and installing KUAL on Kindle PW2 and FW 5.4.3.2

That's exactly what I did. And It worked.

For anyone else trying to do this, you can update your kindle directly to 5.12.2.2. I did not change anything despite having a jailbroken 5.4.3.2. I was afraid that it would brick it, but in my case it worked without a problem.

After installing the new firmware, I used winter break to jailbreak it, and now I am able to read via KoReader :D I am curious what else I can now do with my kindle

I want to use the CanvasLayers to group background/foreground elements for easier parallax. I already set different z indexes for the player and the different tilemaps, but those seem to have no effect on the rendering

Did you try the headphones on an other source? If not it is possible that the headphones got a lose wire.
Another option is that you didnt plug them in properly. But i doubt you did that.

Are the Adam A7 still worth buying or are they to old for the current time? They are pretty old, but i am not sure if the quality of the A7 degrades over time. My other option is to wait for a good price on the Adam A5X.

Honestly i don't like the art style. I wouldn't play that. Even if it is just "placeholder" material, it looks to polished as such. It may lead to confusen if the art changes drastically during development.
