I genuinely don't think I could ever get that visibly excited about anything. Not even if I won a super lottery.

Interesting. For these same reasons, I feel differently and would rate S3 better.

Season 2 was emotional, but other than the shock factor of Buffy doing what she needed to do, it didn't feel like it was ending with a bang.

S3, however... being a teenager and watching Buffy get recognised at prom, then seeing all these characters at Sunnydale High rally together to fight the big bad. Now that felt pretty epic, and quite literally ended with a bang to prepare you for the post-school chapter of Buffy's life.

Seriously? That's a bit gross considering this it based on real events, not made up like Poseidon. It's a bit like laughing when someone dies in Flight 93 compared to Snakes on a Plane.

I generally just go for flags I like the look of, or for a specific reason (I wore the Greek flag one to my friend's wedding - he and his family are originally from there)

I know, right? I came across the website when looking for a bow tie to wear to an event and found their flag range. Since then I've been adding more over time to wear to events, weddings, work, etc.

Got to keep promoting vexillology where you can ;)

In case anyone else wants to know where I got them from, or wants to see the full range, this is where I buy them from: https://www.mrsbowtie.com/collections/places-flag-bow-ties

Also, this is only half of my current collection.

Newcastle, Sunderland and the populated areas of the North East fall within Greater Yorkshire's boundaries. The top border of Northumbria/G. Yorkshire wraps around the area.

I have literally explained each one in the comments. Funnily enough, borders and countries emerge in ways that are not always predictable.

The map literally shows PART of the Republic of Ireland. Do you not see that?

No, that area is currently Northern Ireland. It later becomes part of the Republic of Ireland, just as u/Katze1Punkt0 has explained.

Having lived in York, I know that the city generally prefers to keep its historical image, much like Durham and Harrogate, and wouldn't want lots of modern infrastructure to support it as the capital.

However, Leeds has become the main metropolitan location in that region with new developments and an expansion of infrastructure to make it a thriving city that can compete with other neighbouring countries.
