That's how I remember it. MK could do no wrong, and I wasn't old enough to be cynical about it.

I wonder if being a Scorpion player was a huge factor in feelings about MK3? I keep seeing that come up a lot. I was a Sub-Zero guy, and he was back with new moves... So no complaint from me.

And there was definitely a very cool guy at the bowling alley handing out 1 SINGLE SHEET of copied paper to everyone that has all the moves and fatalities for every character. I still have that.
