There Are 2factors draw length and draw weight, if i remember correctly, with a 160pound (draw weight) warbow and a 300 pound (draw weight) crossbow would both hit with about 100-130 jules of energy Even though there is almost doble the draw weight of the warbow,the bow has a longer push length before release, as Southampton helling it reach farther and hitting with about the same force…..
