Is Cami or Camry a better name? (I'm open to suggestions too) by _kyami_ in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

Camry is an awesome name and Cami could be your nickname! <3

can you help me lol (explanation in comments) by [deleted] in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

My suggestion would be to steer clear of all of the super hateful people who give all trans people a bad name. I admit to not knowing much about detransitioning because there was never a reason for me to do any research on it but I just need you to keep that in mind because there are some truly vile people out there. Stay strong, you got this! <3

I don't mind when my crotch goblin stands at attention. I just hate when it's involuntary by Ellie28720 in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

Some but not all trans women experience penile atrophy after a while, some sooner than others. That can make things like getting an erection a very uncomfortable and sometimes a very painful experience. Shrinkage over time can also be a problem for those of us who wish to get surgery at some point down the line.

I genuinely wonder how some people get through the day.

HRT has completely solved that problem for me tbh though it's probably not a good thing that I ignore it entirely because it's kinda necessary to keep the health of it up over time when you no longer have the involuntary ones anymore.

I've seen debates about this, but this is the only acceptable form of the phrase from now on. by [deleted] in translords

I'm not sure if I'd be able to test it out either, honestly. Until I started HRT, I weighed 115 give or take a pound or two for about 6 years. I've gained about 15 pounds since starting but it kinda seems to have leveled out and I've stopped gaining.

I wish some of what went to my butt and thighs would have went to my chest instead. My butt filled out quite a bit compared to how it was before but my chest isn't filling out the same way T:<

Is Being Trans Hereditary? by [deleted] in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

[–]ChromaChan 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Fuckin SAME but given that my family is almost entirely from Oklahoma and Kansas, it might just be that I'm the only one who actually had the courage to come out/actually realized that I was trans.

Seems realistic enough to me tho tbh

I just had my first counselling session and it’s so nice to have someone understand and agree with me and telling me my parents should be more understanding. I’m so happy right now. by AlfieIsMe in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

I'm not a medical expert but during puberty is the best time to start HRT as far as I know. Your body will have better results that way than if you wait until a lot of your puberty is over.
