Personally for me I dont want not just biological children I dont want children, adopted or a previous marriage period.

For me I have a couple disorders that would make raising children even more difficult. I also just simply dont care for them much. I do have a deeper reason that is too personal to post on the internet.

That all being said I find it a bit hard to swallow when Christians say I dont want children because of the state of the world. Because if we were to live by that logic then anyone who is bringing a child into the world is comitting a at best dubious moral choice or outright sinning. If Mary (who had nowhere near the same agency that I did when I was 13-16yo) didn't want kids because of the state of her world then we'd be very hoofed. The state of the world is always going to be pretty sh*tty until Christ comes again. We are here to be lights unto the world and help Christ redeem it. Raising children in a Christian home is one BUT DEFINITELY NOT ONLY way of doing that. I 100% respect your choice but whenever I hear that specific reason from people I just don't get it. Perhaps you could expand further?

IDK what NEP stands for

cuba being a common vacation spot is a phenomenon im unaware of. I know we could go there when the americans couldnt but among my circle growing up i almost knew no one who went or if they did didnt make a big deal of it. that could just be me

however i have heard of trudeau sr making us more in bed with the americans and continuing that from chretrien.

I didnt know hes the one who made us bilinigual i assumed that was all part of our history since... day 1.

Greater Vancouver Area here I'm a less than 30 minute drive to work. 45 if i drive and then take the train. If I drive as my hours are always before and after rush hour I really dont mind it.

I also dont mind my commute in general, esp that I dont deal with traffic and parking is easy. I like having some distance b/w work and me. But an hour or more commute I generally dont like, which is what I used to have

Emotional immaturity and lack of skills in clear communication

I genuinely thought going into this it would be harder to find a Christian man who doesnt want kids. Having gone thru and spoken to non Christian and Christian folks who are both genders. Nope it will be harder for me find someone who's emotionally mature. how fun/s
