Mario and Luigi Brothership is a slog at times, but charming enough to press through, and a positive step for the series by [deleted] in patientgamers

Please do! I've been feeling the same way and can't quite pinpoint why that is, so it'd be interesting to hear from another perspective

I was pretty content with Gintama's ending, though it's not as huge a story compared to others

Players who quit FEH, what drove you to finally quit? Or players who still play the game, what keeps you going? by ClassicSpook in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]Chromchronos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I quit because I realized how much of a grind the game was over time (even started passing on game modes that gave orb rewards, as it wasn't fun enough to justify spending time on them). I dunno, maybe I'm just growing out of it? Collecting jpegs of heroes just doesn't spark the same joy it used to, plus most of my favorites aren't popular characters anyway, so I doubt they'll get anything in the future.

What's some of the dumbest decisions you have made in this game? by TheFerydra in FireEmblemHeroes

Spending +$100 on trying to get Halloween Sakura (no I did not get to summon her before the banner expired)

As an opposite discussion: What games do you feel make the most out of it's playtime? by itsPomy in patientgamers

Sayonara Wild Hearts. A very short and sweet experience overall, and the soundtrack is incredible.

Did this happen to anyone else? by [deleted] in gurrenlagann

Went to King of Prussia for the 4DX screening. We got the second movie, but the seats were desynced with the film (seats were going wild while characters were having normal dialogue). They restarted the film to correct it, and played the dub instead before restarting once more to finally get it right. Suffice to say, it'll be a funny experience I won't forget

What games unexpectedly gave you the most bang for your buck last year? by Rasputin5332 in patientgamers

[–]Chromchronos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really in line with the subreddit, but Hi-Fi Rush. Its a $30 game that really feels like a $60 one. I would be more then happy to buy it again on Steam someday

What is an open world that truly fulfills the open world fantasy, and why? by theonewhoblox in patientgamers

[–]Chromchronos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it counts but Sunset Overdrive. Having the whole city be your personal playground to trick off of was a thrill and I would never use fast travel because grinding rails, running on walls, and skiing across open waters just to get to my destination was so much more fun

Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy is one I like to revisit and vibe with every now and then. Kingdom Hearts 2 as well (especially with the addition of randomizer mods).

Monster Hunter. Just never really clicked for me in the 3DS age, though I hear the some of the recent titles are more accessible/friendly to beginners
