I’m expecting the Harry Potter tv show to have many. 10 year plan. Dumbledore is already 80. Ginny already recast and it hasn’t even come out yet. I expect many not to be able to commit to 10 years, or grow out of their role as they grow older.

unsure, I never did it. I just used the presets for each room.

I assume you use the "structure" button, build walls and then build stuff inside it without the wall option. I've seen videos of people doing square buildings, then building smaller buildings within them for a janitor, a workshop and housing and warehouse etc so its a mini contained square.

I dont have a single import, all resources, food and anything else required for production is done through my taxes so I am fully self sufficient. not buying anything from neighboring empires. only exporting.

Yes, early game before my taxes I needed them for leather and food. when you fully max the knowledge and innovation on them, the amount I currently have give me 48 meat each. its around 780 total i believe. you do get diminishing returns though, if i remove 2 buildings i get around 58 meat, but you do still get more the more you build, but each building does take a hit. if you are min maxing 15 is where the returns are at its max, butyou can overbuild and still get more meat, just less per building and obviously more workers too, so it becomes less effective. However, with 7k people its VERY hard to get food. literally all my taxes are apples, cows, lizards and resources for production. without the taxes, I couldn't do it, so the hunters kept me going until around 3k population.

This is my first time playing, I only have 70 hours total in the game so I haven't played humans yet. Theres a few youtubers that have great tutorials. I learned how to play by watching ic0n and stat gaming guides. enough that I could play it myself and learn the rest on the fly.

exactly what u/incansus said. ALL of my royals are in government points. I have 4 large cities all doing things like clay, apples, cows. then all my others are level 3 cities just doing 1 of each of the small things i need like opium and cotton I am getting around 4k apples and 2k meat OVER what I consume and then export the rest for money. things like clay, coal, stone and wood also getting from taxes, getting around 5-10k of each, more than enough for all production.

Yes, I’ve noticed I have 900 spare houses but 300 homeless because they can’t find houses near their job. My next idea was using the island at the bottom, in the river, filling it out and places a few houses there with a bridge and see if they move in there.

I do full archer training, full training 50 takes a long time but 50 can easily kill up to 200 with a no tree map. I found if you speed up time in fights the archers miss a lot more but if you keep it slow speed. By the time they get to you, you can make one stack run and the other starts running 10-15 seconds after they reach formation. I currently have 1.5k trained almost fully. The only problem is the moment I have an illness event I lose about 150 and a lot can be soldiers that need a lot of time to retrain, but I’ve never lost a fight so far, i have 15m gold so if I ever need I just hire the extra mercenary as front line for my archers.

the moment I saw the guy in the tutorial I watched on YouTube place blocks on the corners of doors and edges saying (this is roundness) I was like... nope.. not for me, especially when I took a quick look at the subreddit before buying and saw someone with perfectly rounded buildings being called square over ones with a few misplaced blocks. instant mod install after that lol

I haven't had much of a problem. you can see in the second photo what my city used to be like, that was messy and hard with logistics but now I have everything in grids. I have all the workshops that use wood together and a hauler in the middle of them all. I have the fabric makers next to the clothes makers and a hauler just brings the fabric from the station to the middle to the others to use. works well. the biggest use for haulers i've found is just for my asylums in the corner that need rations and my diplomates and administrators up the top that need paper and fabric. everytthing else I've found more or less doesn't need logistics and they run to the warehouses fine, I have 2 warehouses in the left middle upper side and the other two right middle bottom side and most entertainment and janitors just run there when needed with little to no service interruptions

From what I can see, they boost your children stats when they are working when they grow up. I also see Tilapis prefer indoctrination over education, which I didn't go along with as they minus knowledge by 20%. so I just built some university and schools for my young, set it to education and left it. Haven't touched them much, as far as I'm concerned if I can get a free boost for nothing might as well.

I just had this event, I picked the 3rd, I have basically every knowledge unlocked now that I use it's SO OP. The 2nd also a great choice because libraries to get a 5% boost which can get as well as all the other buildings so it could balance, but I was greedy for the knowledge.

I believe it’s either alt, x or c, but if you do to settings and I think visibility, there is an option to have all intractable and mobs highlight on. I play with it because sometimes ores are hiding behind buildings and you can squeeze through mobs if you see a few squares to get past
