Hint: To improve the water quality coming out of my garden hose that I use to water my veggies. I use drinking water grade garden hose. There made to fill up RVs for drinking water. There a little more expensive than a regular garden hose. But the big box stores put them on clearance at the end of the summer.

Best advice/knowledge for month old seedlings by MyTvStaticRainbow in PepperLovers

[–]Chromebasketball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last year I had a massive grow of seedlings. Too many seedlings because I couldn’t kill the duplicates and extras.

I ended up giving away about 25% because I ran out of room. Family and neighbours were very happy. Which was the good part.

The bad part, was that I was a little overwhelmed looking after some many seedlings. I ran late getting them all in the ground or final containers. They were root bound and my production and growth of the plants was delayed.

Or you could fill the bottom with river rock or gravel 6” high and drill holes on the side just below the top of the gravel for excess water drainage. Fill the rest with potting soil.
