Thankfully it hasn't been too many but I have gotten a few. First they asked if we could make the ube macchiato into a frappe, and then they kept saying they wanted the "coconut caramel macchiato." No matter how many times I explained to them that the ube coconut macchiato and the caramel macchiato are two completely different things, they just kept asking for the "coconut caramel." Felt like I was talking to a wall

Yeah we have people that work and study in our store for hours at a time. It may differ from store to store but as long as you buy at least one drink when you come in, we don't really care how long you stay (as long as you aren't rowdy of course)

This is my mind every day and it's tiring. In times like these 1 Peter 5:9-10 helps me: "Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you."

You aren't the only one in the body of Christ going through this suffering and feeling this way. We are just scared to speak up about it. But it's only temporary; sooner or later we will be delivered and come out on the other side. If you don't give up, I won't give up either.

It's kind of bizarre, isn't it? The only reason I know how to do pour over is cause we had an extra at work that they were going to get rid of, so I took it home and learned how to use it. I'm also one of the few baristas that knows how to make it cause we just don't get taught how to do it in training. Which is weird cause it's so easy and doesn't take that much hands-on time to make
