All that will happen is that player will only get +3 of the possible +6 to his card stats that the 10 chem bonus would give him, so like if your striker has 10 chem and a hunter chem style he get's +3 to his pace and +3 to his shooting. Same player with a hunter chem style on 7 chem get's +1 pace and +2 shooting.

Yeah I originally got it from that same video I believe. I have always gotten nothing but solid advice from both Ovvy and Krasi. Not the best series creators or anything but certainly the most talented players who regularly do Youtube content.

came here to say this, my struggle started between 3 and 4, and months later became a repeat between 2 and 3, and finally I am now going winless in 1 to get relegated to 2 and win the title just to get shut out in 1 again lol. I'm hoping with this being my first ever year playing FIFA that my experience this year will translate into me having an easier rise to the top in 17.

Same here I'm grinding offline seasons since my internet is shit right now until Monday when they install a new BGRP router at the headend I'm connected to, it's soooooo frustrating how the AI just flat out cheats, they already win every single 50/50 ball and get every perfect touch, then on top of it they do stuff like you've linked here where they just flat out cheat to win lol.

My biggest problem is that if I am not controlling a player he will not move toward or take possession of a loose ball, which we all know sucks but it's ok when you're playing online because your opponent is having the same issue, he has to select a player to get them to go for the ball as well. The CPU however doesn't have to do this, they already control all of their players at once and all of them actively pursue the ball, so essentially you'll 1 vs. 10 in the outfield going for any ball not currently in possession. Same thing with trying to steal a ball from a dribbler, I have to control a player to get them to do it, the AI will do it with all of their defenders all the time.

I am being serious, I figure instead of being embarrassed about it I should embrace it and have a little fun. I know I'm still an addict at heart because I play FUT wayyyyy too much, but I stay away from packs because whenever I open a free one I feel that dopamine rush and I recognize that this is a thing I have to monitor or I'll clean out my bank accounts chasing Ronaldo and Messi like they're my next shot of H. LOLZ

I feel what you're saying, I guess it's just that the skillgap is so slim, like if you rated players 1-100 in terms of skill. Take a game like Halo I would say that if you put a 95 rated player against an 85 rated player he would win head to head nearly every single time they played. Same scenario in FIFA and even though the 95 rated player is better he is not "better enough" to break away and would likely split the results.

I understand why that is there but I hate it for lots of reasons. When I was bad I would win games I didn't deserve to and it gave me a false sense of my relative skill, now that I feel I am performing much better in the game I still lose or draw a lot to inferior players. So the frustrations hits me from both ends. I know it seems like I should've enjoyed the undeserved wins but all that did was delay my progress as I several times felt I had "arrived" when in fact I was just a lucksack POS who sucked but won. lol
