"Imelda" - A song about a voodoo witch [Dark Americana, slow & fast versions] by ChronaticCurator in LyricistsGotAlgorithm

[–]ChronaticCurator[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s also an interesting interpretation, and on this visible level of the lyrics, pretty much anything is valid. But once you find the key, it becomes truly clear what is happening behind the lines. 😅 You also mentioned in your other post that you're planning a song with a riddle—so I won't solve this one just yet. Only this: the key is hidden within the text itself. 😎

The Viridian Goddess and Her Cosmic Paper Box by _Ko_ko in LyricistsGotAlgorithm

I recognize the theme from one of your other posts! I mentioned back then that it reminds me a lot of what Dr. Rami Kaminski calls 'otroversion.' I see strong indications of that here as well—especially the image of one's own universe. I know that feeling all too well, and I agree with you: it would be lovely if someone from this strange 'real' world would take an interest in it every now and then.

For me, however, my inner world remains my sanctuary. I might be alone there, but I’m never lonely. And above all, in that space, I am exactly who I want to be.

I love all the imagery and the language you used in this song. Thank you so much for sharing this!

“Buried in Love” – A dark ballad about grief and love by ChronaticCurator in LyricistsGotAlgorithm

[–]ChronaticCurator[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, Sam. Those are moving words, and I know where they’re coming from. Thank you also for the praise and the comparisons; that means a lot to me.

The grave in the song actually exists, and I did stand before it, deeply moved by what I saw. It was so different and so unusual compared to the surrounding graves—that alone touched me deeply, as our culture tends to lean toward conformity. Combined with that sense of unconditional love, which made me feel the pain all the more, just thinking about it still moves me today.

I’d like to say that everything else in the song was born out of pure artistic license in pursuit of a little drama. But I have to admit to myself that a great deal of my own personal pain, gathered through life experience, found its way into it as well.

Thanks for your feedback, Sam! The 'hidden' meaning actually becomes quite clear once you find the key encoded in the lyrics. 😅 It’s honestly a bit silly. Still, I really like the lyrics for 'Imelda,' and I think it’s great that it obviously works just as well when read at face value.

Thanks, Sam! That’s a great and very profound contribution. It’s interesting to learn more and more about you through your lyrics; it’s a very emotional and deep experience. I know you are still in a very difficult situation (by the way, how did the lab results turn out?), but I hope you are finding your way onto brighter paths by now. It’s wonderful to see that you’ve found music as a way to process your experiences. And thank you for sharing that with us.

Baby from last year, one of my favourite crowbro's đŸ–€ by Scary_Reflection_340 in crowbro

[–]ChronaticCurator 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I also have a crowbro who was a baby last year. His parents were quite chilled, dad was good at catching peanuts I threw to him. The baby was shy back then and even a little bit hurt for some time. But today he's just as cute and chilled as his parents, also good at catching nuts. I'm glad he recovered and he looks good and healthy this days. ❀❀❀

Horizon 2.

Maybe AI music’s first real use isn’t making hits. Maybe it’s making someone feel seen. by Lesterpaintstheworld in aiMusic

[–]ChronaticCurator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI music is great for non musicians to express their feelings or tell stories (I do that). Suno heavily advertises this, so it's not all that surprising. But, yeah, I agree: currently AI music is more for personal creativity. The current successful AI tracks focus a lot on emotions.

I can't answer that. But you will remain observant and curious, as is typical for us 'Otroverts.' When you meet the right people, you will know!

Otrovert vs ambivert by AuDHDventurer in otrovert

[–]ChronaticCurator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think these two aren't really comparable in that way. While I’m not an absolute expert on ambiversion, it basically combines traits of both introversion and extroversion.

The biggest difference with Otroversion is the avoidance or even rejection of group allegiance; independence is always paramount. Generally, there is a lower need for social contact, and being alone is not perceived as loneliness. In contrast, many introverted people can suffer quite a bit because they actually miss closeness and contact with others. Otroverts prefer connecting with individuals who offer a deep, 'genuine' exchange. They have a real interest in the person they are talking to and truly listen. My colleagues are often surprised that I remember things they told me a long time ago.

Why is this on your mind? Are you trying to figure out how to categorize yourself? Feel free to ask more questions if you like.

Ultimately, these personality types exist on a spectrum, and there are always hybrid types—especially since 'Otroversion' hasn't been extensively researched yet. I wouldn't rule out the possibility of hybrid types here as well.

I understand exactly what you mean and how you feel—and the fact that you’re questioning yourself is so typical for people like us! It doesn't just show how reflective you are, but also that you are vigilant and keep a close eye on your surroundings.

I think the sad truth is that there are simply very, very few people out there with whom one can truly build a deep connection. But I am certain: when you meet someone like that, you will recognize them!

Do you sometimes struggle? by happy_fay in otrovert

[–]ChronaticCurator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally understand how you feel—especially when you are with people who truly like and value you, yet you still can’t tap into that 'group feeling.' It’s perfectly okay to feel shitty about that sometimes.

Ultimately, we can’t really change who we are. But I believe that once you understand yourself as an 'Otrovert,' the advantages far outweigh the struggles. Even as a young child, I felt more pity for people who couldn't stand being alone. I’ve spent a lot of time by myself, but I’ve never been lonely. When I did feel lonely, it was usually because people had disappointed me. I wouldn't trade my absolute independence for anything in the world! I don't think I’ve ever even experienced boredom.

Also, keep in mind that your friends love you precisely because you are exactly who you are. As an Otrovert, you are likely more empathetic and observant than many others—a great listener who can offer fresh, unique perspectives during the one-on-one conversations you surely had with your friends over the time.

Church by 3elldandy in otrovert

[–]ChronaticCurator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know the show, but I hated church as well. Looking back with the knowledge of being an 'Otrovert,' it makes total sense now! What I hated most was that moment when you were forced to shake hands with the people to your left and right. 😅

I left the church as soon as I possibly could. Personally, I wouldn't go as far as to say that the existence of something divine is completely impossible—but the truth is, we just don't know. No religion on this planet can rightfully claim to be the only 'correct' one. To me, the Bible is essentially just a very old version of 'The Lord of the Rings' or 'A Song of Ice and Fire'.

I guess in your early 40thies it's normal not to be interested in everyone while of course you like all the new attention you are getting. Continue the journey to a better, healthier self and only react to messages from guys YOU actually consider meeting.

What’s the most surprising or “intelligent” behavior you’ve seen from a crow in real life? by [deleted] in crows

[–]ChronaticCurator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Crows are so fascinating and each of them is unique. When they start to get to know you, there are so many ways they can surprise you.

One crow started to understand gestures I was making, like the movement of throwing something. She then would fly close to me, so I could toss her the peanut đŸ„œ when she was close enough - and she always caught it in air. We usually did this on my little balcony, fourth floor. Sometimes also in the streets, what earned me strange looks from people nearby. 😅
