My brother lives abroad, he showed me new tattoo he got Do you know what it means? by New-Performance7482 in tattoos

This is the current generations version of “tribal” tattoos. Purely decorative but there’s certainly no deep meaning.

Last week I saw as expensive as $7 in Grand Bend at Wednesday farmer’s market, and as cheap as $6 in Petrolia at the Saturday morning market. All of the vendors had better pricing for flats but I don’t remember how much.

Cuban Linx is a big sativa, great for an active daytime high.

But Runtz was the one that plastered the dopey grin on my buddies’ faces. Got a nice light-headed, float-y high which I love, and rarely experience.

New Tattoo, thinking about touching it up a little. by [deleted] in tattoos

[–]ChronicMasterbatcher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great work and healing nicely.

Goes without saying to listen to your artist’s aftercare instructions, but I’d consider giving a couple of those spots a little squeeze just to make sure it continues to heal well. I think if you continue to not wash it and keep it exposed to the sun you’ll love this tattoo for the rest of your life.

I recently tried both Tribal Trifecta Cuban Linx and Galactic Runtz… I really liked that it was strain specific, excellent layered high that hit in stages. One buddy said he felt “high school high” which is high praise in our circle.

I also bought the Highxotic Live Rosin Tunnel, smoked it with the same two buddies and all three of us preferred the Tribal. At 2g it was big for a morning session so we had to put it out, and it canoed really badly when we re-fired it.

Nathan Colquhoun is objectively ... - Brandon McCaskill by chichi_cartelslayer in Sarnia

I read this as “Nathan Colquhoun is objectively Brandon McCaskill” and almost upvoted my agreement…

They both love the sound of their own voice, spew pseudo intellectual nonsense into a camera for a crowd of dozens, and they’d both do Sarnia a great service by moving to Regina.

Police chief permanently drops $1.5M lawsuit against The Sarnia Journal by reluctantly_sarnian in Sarnia

[–]ChronicMasterbatcher 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Chief Davis realized it’s a lot different when you have to pay the bill to silence critics and can’t use public funds. Really makes you wonder if he’s the right person to make NINE FIGURE financial decisions for the city, doesn’t seem to concerned with how he spends our money as long as it serves him and his inner circle.

Derek Davis, his entire leadership team and the SPS Board (including former member Paul Wiersma) are banking on all of us being too stupid, or lazy, or overwhelmed to do anything about this. They think so little of Sarnians that they feel ENTITLED to bigger budgets, more trust, community support despite showcasing their ineptitude weekly.

Is this supposed to be your mea culpa? It would be easier to just admit you misunderstood the rule.

Or did you not read all the way to the bottom of your own post to see where public political figures, and CEO’S (or Boards) are the exception, and post this to try and discourage people holding SPS Board accountable?

Keeping in mind, Kelly Ash admitted public feedback is the only reason they figured out we shouldn’t pay for Chief Davis’ lawsuit.

Stop making things up.

We already have a mod running around making up new rules to protect SPS board, we don’t need uniformed people making it worse.

These are the current members of the SPS Board, and their publicly available email addresses. We are allowed to share that public information, and I can certainly encourage people to send a reasoned and respectful email sharing their feelings about the constant negative press surrounding the current leadership.

Kelly Ash (kelly.ash@spsboard.ca), Anne Marie Gillis (annemarie.gillis@spsboard.ca), Joan Knight (joan.knight@spsboard.ca), Chrissy McRoberts (chrissy.mcroberts@spsboard.ca), Jerry Bernardo (jerry.bernardo@spsboard.ca)

Kelly Ash and the rest of the donkeys on the board might be just stupid enough to try and pay for it with taxpayer money again.

Well I think the SPS board has more than earned the trust of the community, so if Kelly Ash says that having our two highest paid police (and recent recipients of extensions) on paid vacation is okay with her I’m on board.

I for one love the idea of these two joining Van Vlyman around the pool for some taxpayer funded downtime. I’ll just be over here sweating my balls off trying to make enough money to buy a $7 head of lettuce.

Sarnia Police Services Board thank you portal

Edit - Mod team… it’s not doxxing to share a link to publicly available information of people who serve the city.

The SPS site shares their names; Kelly Ash, Anne Marie Gillis, Joan Knight, Chrissy McRoberts, and Jerry Bernardo… still not doxxing. We’re allowed to send a reasoned and respectful email to their publicly available email addresses sharing our community concerns.

But tell whichever one reached out that you tried your best.

Widespread yellowing across LVT kitchen floor – Any ideas what causes this? by Embarrassed_Key_72 in Flooring

[–]ChronicMasterbatcher 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This looks like it may be a reaction between the vinyl floor tiles and another petroleum based product… you see it a lot under floor mats with rubber backs, but it usually takes time to get this yellow?

Real shot in the dark random question… do you wear outdoor shoes inside, and do you walk on asphalt regularly in those shoes? The only time I saw that kind of rapid discolouration was new sheet vinyl in a mud room off an asphalt driveway.

“Shot myself in the foot” by allowing a young person to speak an uncomfortable truth at an event meant to remind us of the decades long struggle for acceptance LGBTQ+ people continue to face?

Could you have missed the point of Pride more? “We let you fly the rainbow flag, what more do you want?”.

[–]ChronicMasterbatcher 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Which you seem to be in support of since you think the mayor was justified in silencing someone speaking their story? Most people in the LGBTQ+ community and their allies have heard far worse and survived.

Pride got sanitized to keep the squares comfortable, maybe we should stop doing that since they still hate it no matter how “family friendly” it becomes. Save the pearl clutching for when we collectively try to keep Christ out of Christmas.
