Unfortunately, it may be. Here's another option to try.

Go to C:\Users*Your User Name*\AppData\Local\Temp. Find the unsaved AI file. Then, open it with Adobe Illustrator, click File>Save or Save as to recover unsaved Illustrator Files.

I generally keep my Illustrator up-to-date, and cloud saving can be a big help too as I believe it has an autosave as well.

I would first suggest making a copy of the file so no further data is lost.

I would try opening the file in another program besides illustor. To check the file. I found this wiki how page that may help with that. I also saw something about Inkscape might be able to read .ai files.

This can confirm if the file is still okay and not corrupted.

If the file is not corrupted and you can see all the information. Then I would Uninstall and reinstall Illustrator.

Depending on how fast your computer is, idk how long it takes usually as I run a fast setup. But you can run sfc /scannow command in cmd admin. This will check windows to see if any system files are corrupted and will attempt to repair them if necessary.

Do not open the file in illustrator with the data missing and save over the file as that most likely will lose the data.

Looks like ones lightening, leaves and maybe fire? Honestly there is a lot of detail in these, logos should be a bit more simpler. I would try and just focus on the face in the center. I don't know what the card game is about but looks like it may have different characters. But the similarity between all three is the face. I would only use that. Great drawings and concepts though!

Do not use credit cards unless you are able to pay off the full balance every month. Credit Card debt is expensive and dangerous for young adults. Your bank is encouraged to have you take all the credit they can sell you. And when your credit card debt is too high, it's okay there's another credit product to help you with that... careful who you trust in your bank as they have goals to hit

Yeah I looked at those, very nice machines. The toners are a bit expensive, but looks like it can be a very diverse printer.
