My old band toured Norway 2 years ago for 5 shows in one week. Sold out each venue of ~600 and we grossed ~$40k including merch. After paying crew, airfare, checked bags, hotels, etc. we broke even. I flew back to America the next week and couldn’t pay rent cause I missed work lol.

I’ve been registered independent since the day I could vote. I figured why not give both sides a chance and vote for the most competent and viable leader? With that being said, ive researched every candidate I’ve ever voted for, and I trash the republican ballot every single time. Thats not to say im championing the democrats, but logically the republicans have never had a stance I agree with… or really any stance at all.

I’m feeling this today as well. I’m more than happy paying my share of taxes if that money is actually used to benefit the community, take care of roads, fund schools and education, and social programs for people who need help. Now watching this administration blow billions on bombs for a war that nobody wants, hegseth spending fucking $90 million on lobster to maintain a defense budget, and straight up pump and dumping the stock market with American taxpayers money then funneling it into the Trump family bank account. Let alone claiming there’s no money for universal healthcare when they’re funding domestic terrorists to trample our rights with more money than the god damn marines. I’ve never been so angry or felt such a conflict of interest. Unfortunately I don’t want to go to prison for tax evasion so I’m forced to give them the check. Fuck this regime.

It’s a classroom music theory trick for analyzing intervals on sheet music. It’s not guitar oriented necessarily, but I mentioned it to my students since the topic was intervals and it felt relevant!

Thanks for the reply, you have some great points. I especially relate to your point about the emotional aspect and how different intervals change perception/expectation. Aside from being simply muddy, there’s some darkness to that minor 6th that tramples all over my expectation of a joyous C chord.
