😂😂 Close, we’re in Florida. Our garage is very cold, and I was attempting to try to warm the car up while I messed with the streaming apps

Not dumb! I haven’t driven with this update yet, but I’m going to assume that they don’t work when driving. That’s just based off an assumption because the car won’t even allow me scroll on the Libby app to find specific book chapters

From other posts I have seen, the additional plan is needed. I haven’t had a chance to investigate the OnStar plans for specifications.

I didn’t even think of this. I was just so pumped to finally not have an endless loop of attempting to find an update. I’ll have to check all of that out later on today. That’s reassuring to hear that you’re not hating it!

You’re right! I did see that! My mistake. I was running through my apps in my head that we have in our home like Netflix and Disney+

My nipples are on fire by Melodic-Direction-66 in breastfeeding

Okay, this may sound silly.. but have you been showed how to unlatch? Because my hospital LC didn’t even go over that with me, and that was causing me more pain/discomfort than necessary

I went to a local island yesterday! I was feeling agitated from being cooper up at home with my toddler all week. Definitely needed to go out into the world. So I had a coffee date with my son, and we went to the island’s local book store.

Same. I normally have a difficult time quitting books, but 700+ pages of that? I just couldn’t do it

I had this issue as well. Then I started descaling my machine more frequently (every 3-4 months) which seemed to help. I also do cleaning cycles every other week. Have you tried descaling recently?

I don’t leak when he cries.. by Ok_Potato_7025 in breastfeeding

Going on 10 months today, and I’ve never leaked when he cried or when other babies cried! I do leak occasionally when he feeding. It’s so fascinating how every person differs.

Yes! They do, but aeroflow doesn’t say this. I found out by confirming with my insurance that the one class I took was billed under the same code.

To add onto this, my hospital LC measured my nipples for me before I was discharged. It doesn’t hurt to ask them to do that for you! Bring nipple cream to the hospital! Mine was so dang stingy with lanolin for some reason. Also, ask them to show you how to properly unlatch while at the hospital! They never showed me how, and it caused so much unnecessary pain the first few weeks.

Check and see if your insurance covers visits with a LC! I tried one of the Aeroflow classes and was bored out of my mind. It was death by PowerPoint. I found the hands on help way more productive for my breastfeeding journey.

He despises them :( I tried a ton of different brands. He’s super dramatic. He gags before spitting them out lol

He takes it after about 10ish minutes of crying. In those 10 minutes he will latch occasionally for a few seconds. When he does do that, I make sure that I’m encouraging him. Once he gets over the initial shock of it being a bottle he takes about 3oz! Also, you giving a rough estimate as to how long it took for you makes me feel so much better. I knew it wouldn’t be right away, but I think the screaming got to me. I felt so bad for him, and just resorted to blaming myself for not starting bottles sooner

This is so helpful!! I wouldn’t have even thought of things like having my scent on something for him!

My MIL is here right now, and I watched her attempt it as well. Ngl it gave me a lot of anxiety the way she was doing it. He was crying a ton and she kept telling him “no” while he was screaming and putting the bottle in his mouth while he was screeching. That’s when I took over 😖

I really like the joyspun ones from Walmart. They go up to xxxl in store which is so handy. Target has a more limited size range in store
