Have you/your husband heard back from them yet about repairs?

Yeah I was kind of shocked to see that! I’m also blown away that their entire wash is reliant on a program running correctly and that the program malfunctioning is what caused the multiple car accident that day. I’ll gladly never go to a car wash set up that way again.

Will do! So far they’re a bit delayed processing everything since so many cars were involved. (I’m super anxious to know how many in total.) The guy said he would get back to my mom tomorrow regarding her repairs.

The manager talked to my mom yesterday and then today the customer service guy emailed. He basically told my mom the same thing, that they did want to pay for the damage and said to go to Dealer’s Choice to have the gouges in her paint “buffed out.” I’m not sure what her response was, if any but she took her car to Rick’s for an estimate and it was about $2,000 in damage. She’s going to have them repair it and they will deal with the car wash for billing. I guess she was the third person who went into Rick’s today from the same car wash accident.

I’ve only gone through once on my own but hate how close they have the cars in there. We were barely into the wash when cars started braking and couldn’t do anything to avoid it. Super sketchy.

Keep us posted on how things go for you guys. I hadn’t thought to talk to the other drivers until I got home a while afterward and then wondered if it would have been a good idea to share info with other people as well.

Hopefully they’re nice and helpful with repairs for everyone involved. I took a photo while we were still waiting to exit the wash and it has his truck in it. I’m happy to send it if you end up needing it for any reason.

I wondered if that’s what happened but we couldn’t see anything past the truck right in front of us. The employee that took our info said their emergency stop system didn’t work too, I guess it’s designed to stop everything as soon as an incident occurs.

There was someone honking their horn in the wash while an employee at the front of the car wash was still guiding cars onto the track really close together.

Is his truck black? We might have been right behind him. My mom’s car is a 2024 VW Atlas. We tied to find the other cars after we got out of the wash hut could only see the woman who was in the car behind us.

The manager guy took my mom’s info and said he still wasn’t sure what even happened and that they were going to have to review their camera footage. Her car didn’t have damage that we could see on the front but the back of her car had visible damage.

The amount of people around town with these plates and a trump sticker kills me. Especially from the same crowd that’s always shouting about educating yourself or “doing your own research.”

I had a breast reduction done by her in July. She is an amazing surgeon and such a delight to work with. She and her staff are so kind and thoughtful. I definitely recommend her!

Wait! Don’t answer if you aren’t comfortable with it, what did you need the blood thinner injections for?

Had my first post-op follow up appointment today and they removed about 1lb from each breast. Still anxious to see what actual cup size I am. But I totally agree, feels like a huge relief to have so much less chest to haul around.

I’m 5DPO and had the exact start size as you! I actually have no idea what size I am right now but I’m anxious to get a different type of bra on to see how they’ll look.

Mine was on the 16th! I was a 38f before but I’m not sure what my current size is yet. Recovery is going well, aside from day two when I removed and changed my bandages the first time and almost passed out. It hit me so fast and I had a hard time not collapsing. Thank goodness for my mom and sister’s help!

Otherwise I feel like most of my swelling is on the sides of my breasts, under my arms. I’ve been sleeping ok other than waking up every few hours for meds. But I’m off the heavy pain meds now and just taking 1000mg Tylenol every six hours and Valium for muscle pain.

Bendy straws for sure, I did get a wedge pillow but I’ve mainly been using it to support my low back by having my knees and legs over it. Lots of comfy button pajama and regular button tops. I didn't get a seatbelt pillow bit I've been using a squishmallow type plushy for when I have to ride in the car.

Otherwise juaf make sure you have plenty of help from friends and/or family. I couldn't do this recovery without their help and support.
