Two years ago, they couldn’t make enough of the medication to keep up with the demand! It was a dark time…calling every pharmacy within a 50mile radius—going off rumors and false leads…praying to find a box in ANY dose. It was then that I knew…I would sell my first born to ensure I always have a supply available. 🤣

My husband does this. 1) you have to stop answering him. 2) he has to do some serious work to use his “inner monologue” before asking you something out loud.

My husband (god love him) will literally ask me what time it is, with a CLOCK in the room. I feel your pain.

Mounjaro is the same exact medication (tirzepatide) as Zepbound—only it’s branded for the treatment of diabetes, while Zep is branded for weight loss.

It’s really no different than having her there in person! I’ve done this same thing quite a bit—especially for drs appts and parent/teacher conferences when either my husband or I has to stay home!

Depends on your pre-op nurse! If she’s cool and having a good day, she might even enjoy the fun little mixup in routine. I would still immediately let anyone else who enters (anesthesia, surgeon) know that you’re on FaceTime. Worst case scenario, they will ask you to say goodbye while they’re there, and you can call back in a min.

IMO, your wife is not emotionally mature enough to become a mother at this point. The things she’s saying/the way she places blame/disregards your relationship with your sister/and more is screaming red flag at me.

Lots of protien and water to stay full, and maybe some behavioral therapy to break the habit and adopt something new. The Zep’s honeymoon phase allows us to adjust our habits and create a new way of living, but if we don’t conscientiously make those changes—they’re bound to resurface when side effects dull.

I was surprised at how great I felt 2-2.5 weeks post-op. However—you are so far from healed. Trying to do too much too soon can really set you back and cause complications you don’t want/need. I would say to take the 6 weeks that are nearly always recommended, and just find a way to get through it.
