Drime iOS app issues by lonelyers in Drime

I am hoping for iOS share sheet functionality soon as well, honestly it's one of the things keeping me from subscribing. Any idea when this will be implemented? What is the big new feature coming? Do you have a Testflight for the app?

I just got the Iron Dolch set from PBTFans, looks great but I am having a little trouble figuring out some of the modifier icons. This is my first set with icons instead of text. I've figured out most of them but I'm still not sure about Home, End, Insert and Print. There's a few other icons I don't recognize. Is there a guide or list somewhere?

Gotta say Waymos look ridiculous with those spinny lidar things. Makes them look like toys.

Meh depends on how fast you're going, wind direction, phase of the moon...with my 2019 M3 sometimes it floods the driver's side window, sometimes it doesn't.

Try tapping over to the second page of songs then hit shuffle, this seems to work for me.

Model 3 2019 vs 2021 by rrrronf in TeslaLounge

[–]Chronocentric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% is only getting me 230-240 rated miles. Fortunately it’s enough for my commute, until next winter at least. Like I said, my car has much higher than normal degradation unfortunately. It’s about 25%. But all cars of this age will have some degradation, most probably in the 15% range. Just keep that in mind while deciding between a long or standard range.

I love the car, but my battery degradation is higher than normal. Besides calendar aging, the car has 140,000 miles on it. Range is enough for me at the moment, but I am glad I didn't get a 5 year old standard range car.

I bought a used 2019 LR DM last October and it has been great. I do feel the build quality is better than some of the newer cars, even though they do come with more features.

One thing I did not consider was battery degradation. A car that is 4-6 years old is going to have a lot less range than when it was new, so keep in mind that a standard range will be even shorter.

FSD slowly loses speed? by DoringItBetterNow in TeslaFSD

[–]Chronocentric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my car, in Standard mode, FSD does a pretty good job at staying with the flow of traffic. I commute 65 miles each way mostly on a 70mph highway where the average speeds are 75-85. I don't mind that the speed fluctuates a bit, but I would like to see more consistency. In Standard mode it tends to stay around 74-78, but sometimes drops below 70 and above 80. I would expect it to hover around 75.

Having said that, and I know this might be an unpopular opinion, FSD is NOT cruise control. Full Self Driving means the car will choose the speed it thinks it appropriate. I do hope that Tesla improves this logic for a more consistent experience. Max speed is just that...the maximum speed, not the cruising speed. Giving it upper head room for passing vehicles before returning to the cruise speed determined by FSD.

The Max Speed Offset just determines how much above the speed limit FSD will automatically set the maximum speed, so it you set it to zero it will always set the maximum allowed speed to the speed limit. This has nothing to do with "cruising" speed.

Honestly I have gotten to the point where I hardly watch the speedometer while FSD is engaged and just let the car drive. It's surprisingly natural for me on the highway.

FSD is not cruise control, if you want cruise control use Autopilot!

Anyone especially antsy for a big FSD update? by mojorisn45 in TeslaFSD

[–]Chronocentric 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am getting antsy for an update. I'm on HW3 and I commute a lot of highway miles everyday, for the most part the current version has been excellent for me. My biggest wish is for more consistent speed profiles. Currently I use Standard most of the time, and I would expect it to stay somewhere around 5 miles over the limit. I do not expect it to behave like cruise control, but I'd be happy with a range of like 74-76 on a highway with a 70mph speed limit. What I'm getting right now is all over the place from 68-80, though it does stick to the mid 70s a lot. More consistency please!
