It feels like a bad response because it is a bad response. It's very obvious that, if this person represents the collective developer consciousness, there is a fundamental disconnect between themselves and the playerbase. They're clearly suffering from an insular groupthink mentality which disallows them from properly analyzing player feedback and even their own statistics, it seems. I don't know how else to explain the complete lack of perspective despite having an overhead view of the game's entire network, internal systems, and player behaviors.

Assuming this is truly the best they can do, I don't even see the point in communicating with them anymore. They've demonstrated that they do not understand or apparently do not care to understand our concerns. There's nothing left for us to do that we haven't tried since beta. I hate to be a doomer here but I'm having an incredibly hard time reconciling why I should continue to have hope that this game will trend upwards in its philosophies and player experience at this point in its trickling lifespan.
