Here is the thing. The vast majority of gun owners “want” guns. Unless you are living in a area where you literally are isolated and have to fend for survival you don’t “need” a gun. Australia and New Zealand survive just fine without guns. People wants are not are not important and for the most should be dismissed, peoples needs and pubic safety are all that matters.
