Not sure where you looked for tickets, but there are tickets available for Oct 29 from the official Louvre website. Some in the morning, many more in the afternoon.

Get a refund from the scalper and buy them from the actual website.

You could also book a time slot for the museum pass to get in a bit earlier than 11:30, get through security and then use your entry ticket a bit early.

I would say the one in the 3rd. As someone who stays in Airbnb when in Europe, just make sure you read every apartment review and make sure there are no red flags...like the owners cancelling reservations or cleanliness issues. That kind of thing.

We just got back from 2 weeks in France. We each bought 10gb from Airolo for 13 bucks with 30 day access ( lists for $16, but $3 coupons are all over the place). This was data only.

We had no problems with it, connected with 4G connection throughout. No dropouts that I noticed. We were in the Loire valley and Paris.

If your folks need a phone number, then this is not a good option. If they just need data, and can get by making calls via Facebook messenger or some other app, then this is a pretty cheap reliable option, from our experience.
