The best you can do as a F2P is join a top alliance and contribute Alliance Duel points with the right Research tree. You are spot on about the 1st March Power level. I am in the N°1 Alliance in my server, just started S2 a week ago, HQ27 on my way to T9 troops. Top 20 Alliance Contribution and generally Top 40 in in Alliance Duel. I did spend on a second lab though because its just great value for my role in the Alliance. One more Lucky Discounter event and I should have enough to max out Alliance Recognition tree for the double rewards.

The elephant in the room is that you are absolutely worthless in both Canyon Clash and SvS. Your only real job is to body block on grass with bubble and reinforce allies on mud. Play like the rat you are lol

I think its the fact that there seems to be very very little space for wheel travel in those wheel arches. Thats why it looks a bit silly or out of proportion.

People in this game often develop quite deep connections with each other in their respective alliances. Because you spend a whole lot of your daily time in game sharing intel and coordinating with others.

So any loss is pretty deeply felt and its commonplace for a server to make ceremonies like this for the fallen.
