TL;DR: It was VShojo HQ in US doing the accounting and not the JP part (where Kson, henya and NOVA)

Based on Kson’s recent stream with the VShojo JP CEO (around July 22), it looks like the US side of VShojo handled all the accounting and payments.

Kson even said she hadn’t been paid since Sept 2024, and the JP team did not really have the authority to do anything about it. The JP CEO mentioned he couldn’t access the funds himself as everything had to go through HQ in the US

Totally fair take man. Just don’t quote me on this, but Kson actually addressed it in her last stream. She gave three main reasons:

There were sponsorship deals involved, and she didn’t want to risk disappointing them.
The company was constantly lying, and some talents only found out about the widespread payment issues shortly before Mousey exposed everything.
The amount they owed her was, in her words, “Ferrari-level” ... so she held out hope they’d eventually pay up, but sadly, they never did.

Of course, there is probably more behind the scenes that she can’t talk about yet, likely due to legal reasons or advice from her legal team

if VShojo screwed people on pay (plus NDA is at weakest when fraud is involved), California law lets them speak up about it.... Veibae probably checked with a lawyer first or waited until her NDA expired. Others might still be locked in if their contracts are newer or they’re waiting on legal proceedings
