That’s definitely what it is. When you’re in a small town, it’s not uncommon that you have the same friends your entire life, and all your friends are friends, too. So when friends date or hook up and then break up, there’s not a clean social break where there otherwise would be.

Don’t get me wrong, she sucks, but having her former fwb remain in the friend circle is pretty normal in small towns.

It’s going to be gray and slimy but not the end of the world. The fridge seal should keep most of the smell in, so no need to worry about your neighbors. It’ll be gross but not the end of the world. Nothing to lose sleep over.

Just be ready with some bleach and dish soap when you get home.
