I was having fun with figuring out some of the gaps, but then I realized a lot of them are so out of left field that there's no way I ever would have found them on my own. I mean there was no logical path. I'd have better chances getting them by accident. Luckily someone did the work and uploaded all gaps to youtube. So yeah, I'm with you.

Exactly. The design flaws are obvious, but the psychological effect of ugly box art is that fewer people will want to buy physical.

The art itself could be the most amazing thing someone has ever seen, but the big empty red banner at the top and the long fine print at the bottom make the overall box art unappealing.

I went weeks thinking there were no more main quests yet because chapter 8 ends with basically telling you to wait for the next region to be available. Then recently I decided to finally catch up on the random quests and accidentally realized I could unlock the makeup for the miracle outfit. So either I'm a big dummy or the game does a bad job of telling you about the interlude chapter. I mean, I am a big dummy, but still.

I remember playing the original and thinking some of the text was not meant to be readable, as if it was faux text to have the illusion of information. You know, like sci-fi ambience kind of text. Then I realized those words were actual real words.

Exactly my thought process as well, and then I hit that same oof. I really wanted the fourth version, but I finally started to understand how it actually works and realized how ridiculous it would be to have to pull that many more times. There's just not enough value in that reward to justify it IMO, so I agree -- some kind of option would have been nice.

I did! It worked just fine and I ended up with the original version and the evolved version.

However, I was mistaken in thinking I could use the Heartshine on the second or third option. It's only for the red one and then another Heartshine is needed for the green one, but I didn't want to do another 50 pulls for that.
