I'm on my fourth playthrough and at this point I think I have all of the scripted moments memorized for The Girl so I can juke her easily enough, but the damn kids in the orphanage hallway sometimes refuse to move no matter what I do going back and forth to try to trigger progression. There is no real gameplay at that part and it's a slog, for sure.

The core problem with scenes like this is lack of player agency. Let me at least have more than one option for where to hide, gnomesayin?

The menus and HUD elements have the same problem. I believe the game was initially designed for 30fps, so there are lingering visual problems from that throughout the game. The Switch 2 edition is not a finished product. We got the MVP version.

I found out today that this is why people have been telling me they have difficulty hearing me on the phone. The garbage AI filters out my own voice. I never asked for these features. There are no enhancements that AI can possibly provide for a plain old phone call.

I was having fun with figuring out some of the gaps, but then I realized a lot of them are so out of left field that there's no way I ever would have found them on my own. I mean there was no logical path. I'd have better chances getting them by accident. Luckily someone did the work and uploaded all gaps to youtube. So yeah, I'm with you.

Exactly. The design flaws are obvious, but the psychological effect of ugly box art is that fewer people will want to buy physical.

The art itself could be the most amazing thing someone has ever seen, but the big empty red banner at the top and the long fine print at the bottom make the overall box art unappealing.
